College and Career Tours allow participants to explore different career paths, ask questions, and envision themselves in various roles, which is crucial in making informed decisions for their educational and career choices.
This summer, participants in our College & Career Tours program explored several college campuses to get a firsthand look at campus life. During the visits, participants saw dorms, classrooms, and spoke with current students.
Participants also met leaders in a variety of career fields to gain a clearer understanding of the pathways available to them.
They learned about diverse industries including careers in marketing with Daysmart, zoology and veterinary science with the Detroit Zoo, music and dance with EMU’s School of Music and Dance, and culinary arts with Zingerman’s Deli.
Overall, these experiences will play a vital role in the decision-making process, empowering students to choose the path that best suits their dreams and ambitions.
