Let’s face it– it isn’t always easy to take care of yourself, especially when life gets busy. For many young people, the stress of school and personal life can quickly become overwhelming and lead to burnout.
That is why this summer’s Mind, Body and Soul program was designed to create healthy habits that improve overall health and wellness. The ultimate goal is for participants to feel happier, healthier, and less stressed.
For eight weeks, participants have been creating goals to improve their physical, intellectual, emotional, environmental, and social wellness. Through field trips and activities, they explored their values, strengths, and needs surrounding each aspect of their wellness. “I really enjoyed [this program],” one participant shared. “I learned it is important to be intentional in your life.”
